Content

The program is adapted to each professional’s needs and combines grammar and communicative skills. Special emphasis is also put on the related linguistic, historic and sociocultural aspects necessary to understand international relations in Latin America. The general objective of the course is for students to be able to communicate in different (generally formal) situations such as speeches, direct one-on-one interactions, debates and negotiations. Through one-on-one teaching (or small groups) we can easily adjust the linguistic, communicative and sociocultural contents to each participant’s needs. On levels A1 and A2 we recommend students take the General Intensive course in parallel (that’s 20 hours of group classes or one-on-one per week). Starting on level B1, if needed, we can incorporate certain subjects or modules from the business course we offer. Students may request that some classes are given outside of the school context, visiting sites or institutions related to the subject studied. These can be one or two hour visits, organized by the academia, according to the preferences of the student.

All our courses include the following:

  • Teaching materials (study books)
  • Level test, oral and written, before starting
  • Optional exams at the end of each level and at the end of your stay
  • Certificate including the amount of hours and level attained (plus grade if you passed the exam)
  • Dictionary
  • Two extracurricular activities per week (guided tours, museum visits, tango, asado dinners, excursions, etc.)
  • Workshops, weekly or bi-weekly: Phonetics, Conversation, Narration, Audio
  • Weekly tutorials after class
  • Internet access through PCs at the Academia and wifi
  • Hot and cold drinks
  • Access to library and DVDs for further study
  • Movie showings and discussions usually once a week
  • Help in organizing trips around Argentina and Latin America
  • 24 hour hotline in Spanish, English, French and German
